The gameplay is more or less the same with more combos and options than before, but same system, I think Norenia just detests it.
Personally I think it's just different combat and I like action games so I didn't have a major problem with it. Comparing it to the OG or calling one better than the other is pointless because at this point they are so different, imo.
Hell House, Poltergeist, and Sector 7 Pillar are unforgivable. I was done with the game just before Wall climb.
World is so fucking small, the biggest reason it's padded out to be such a long game is everything slows you down to an obnoxious degree. They made a 40 hour game out of the original opening which I could complete in THREE HOURS. The "twist" is fucking retarded, and doesn't even make sense!
Hell no, I am not sinking money into this shit, even with PC modding options allowing me to have Tifa wearing Nyotengu's unzipped leather suit.
That is all totally fair, I had fun with it and while I agree with Hell House I don't remember trouble or annoyance with anything else other than the fact that they are changing the story so much.
But catching it on a steam sale after we get through bullshit PS5 and EGS exclusivity since they will likely do that again is not too bad for me.

There are many reasons to fault ff7 remake but the combat is not one of them. It's my favorite version of ATB ever.
I was actually referring to Remake myself. I've heard people say combat is improved, but I'm no PS5 owner.
Dont think rebirth is coming to PC till a later date. I think May??
