Biden is way more like Theoden; so feeble he can barely move, constantly in a mental fog, son died violently, totally controlled by his aids who give him advice that destroys his kingdom.
Of course Theoden was once a good man, found redemption, and restored his kingdom. So in that way not like Biden at all.
Glad you mentioned that. Even when tricked, he thought he was doing the right thing. He wasn't trying to exterminate his own people and weaken his kingdom.
Unironically, unironically - no, listen, I'm serious, bub - my favorite Biden clip of all time. Also probably the best thing he's ever done, saying that out in the open.
"The freaking Vice President - the man who is now President - said less white people is a good thing" is a pretty compelling argument to all but the most brainwashed. They won't immediately change their minds, but maybe it will get them to think, will plant some seeds.

As you say, Biden was never this, but I truly cannot comprehend how people can look at footage of Biden from the 90s and early 00s, and not think this man is a husk that has lost a LOT of mental acquity. Hell, here's a random video from 1992, and he wasn't young there, that's still him at 50. This is not the same man we see today.
Biden was never a good man, but he was at least capable of intelligence.
Or mid and late 00s. Or early 10s. He was (relatively) sane and with it even a couple years ago. Hell, campaign Biden (who anyone paying attention at the time called out as a demented old man) is downright sharp and brilliant compared to current Biden.
Biden has always been a moron. But he knew enough about how Washington politics works to weasel his way into the system and firmly entrench himself there.
He's there to be controlled by the left. Sign whatever they put in front of him, not to actually think or decide anything.
Does he know how Washington works? I'm sure he did at some point. His evaporated faculties got him pulled into the black hole that is his party and he's been puppeted ever since. No different than old ladies getting stuffed into crooked homes and tricked into signing away their rights, other than the country is getting pillaged instead.
You're not wrong, but I just think that that era for Biden was some of his most charismatic too, which does take a level of intelligence to quickly read the room and behave accordingly. Now he can barely keep a thought straight.
