I've had a security clearance for a decade. The idea that he just gave them back ameliorates this is a lie.
It is a black letter felony, per document, to have removed those from a SCIF. Senators do not have declassification authority, full stop. The president does, and the legal authority to do whatever he pleases with them including roll them up and smoke them if he feels like it.
The courts are irrevocably tainted and justice is non-existentent in this country.
Happened with Hillary too. If you did what they did say hello to a federal charge.
Clap for that you stupid bastard. :D
You mean, you don't just mix-up all of the classified and unclassified material in the same boxes?
You mean, like, there's a whole color-coding system along with physical separation to prevent exactly this from ever happening under any circumstance?
Do you think if you had lower rank staffers who didn't have security clearance, just "do whatever they felt like" and mix all of it together without your approval that you would be held liable for their actions?
But what if you were old! Wouldn't that make a difference? And if they were just following orders from someone who was old, it couldn't be that they could also be held responsible, right?
...
Sarcasm aside, I'm pretty sure the "red border" he's talking about isn't just "classified", it's probably "President's Eyes Only". Printing each paper out with a red border doesn't seem like that's a normal "Secret" classification, or even a "Top Secret" classification.
Prosecutors, who have family that live at [family location] see no need to prosecute at this time.
basically hillary 2.0
"yeah he did it but no dc court would ever convict him"
It's wild to me how blatant the corruption is and people still let them get away with it. Any normies still supporting the uniparty are complicit
I've lost all respect for my Dad. He's brilliant in many ways. He's a former ER doctor who is a math wiz. He's the one who taught me to think critically at a very young age.
But he's a fucking normie sheep about politics. I posted a thread about an argument I had with him about a year ago that started after he asked me what I thought about all the Trump indictments.
During that argument, I told him that Biden would get off without any punishment for his classified document scandal. I forget his exact response but it amounted to 'we'll see."
Even though I don't really care, I'm kind of excited to see how he explains this away.
You should care. Shove it right in his face. Don't let him turn away. These people are why the country is circling the drain, and they need to face consequences for it
I also like the part where he said that unlike Donald Trump he had the secret documents in his house under lock and key.
Whereas, Donald Trump had the documents in his house under lock & key that was placed on the door by the FBI so that even he couldn't get into it.
It's (D)ifferent when we do it.
This is a bunch of bullshit. Biden himself didn't pick up those documents, box them up, carry them out to his limo and then stack them up in his garage in Delaware. Someone on his staff did. Probably at his direction.
That's the person(s) that these lame prosecutors should be leaning on to see if they can flip them.
Also seems to be a lot of handwaving to distract us from who received the documents and why.
I like the part where he started rambling about how Hamas tried to break up secret negotiations between Israel, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia in order to get Saudi Arabia to recognize the state of Israel.
