Thanks to Trump and a lot of other smaller movements the Right Wing is no longer able to just pretend the Left doesn't exist and isn't attacking them based on identity to increasingly larger degrees.
So the Establishment Right had to make a choice between following their base and defending whiteness and gradually saying "I don't give a shit about racism" more, or follow the Left into saying all of that is a good thing but in nicer tones.

I've been warning people that the GOP will become more anti-White as the country becomes less White. Birdbrain is a great example.
