No idea if he changed but he comes off like an elitist in his series of tweets on this instead of being down to earth
Check some of his most popular tweets; very based and populist. Very weird to see him be so dismissive about "swamps and establishments" when all Larry does is rail against those things. No clue what he's doing, I guess he picked up at least mild levels of TDS somewhere along the way. I'll be posting a separate comment with some of his top tweets.
I'm not sure it's dismissive about swamps and establishments. Rather, he's saying "these people who you can't stop talking about are very happy about this".

Okay, point remains, fuck those people. It doesn't really matter, and I've said before how much I hate the "electability" argument. Maybe Trump will lose, I personally think it's worth taking the shot, as what he's bringing to the table is worth the risk over DeSantis in my opinion, and certainly over Haley.
If things were fair, Trump is completely electable. If they're not fair, who the fuck cares? I'll continue to rage against the swamp/establishment/media, because it's worth raging over. They must be stopped, and Trump's the one most likely to. Although he'd be a better president than Biden without a doubt, I don't think electing DeSantis would accomplish a tenth of what electing Trump would. I'm willing to roll the dice, and I'm not going to let manipulative bullshit like Correia's argument convince me otherwise.
It's still a massive dodge and, as I said, manipulative. Larry has his angle, and is trying to push his position on people. Which is his right, but people are right to criticize the seemingly elitist argument style. He's basically calling people stupid and blind in the comments, just because they think Trump is the best bet for change. Which he is. Again, like or hate DeSantis, I don't think he's anywhere near as much of a shock to the system as Trump, and in fact rolls things back the other way on some issues. I'm just not buying it.
There's been a lot of flak thrown at Baen and their writers, and a lot of them have been doing this weird little dance where they try to remain themselves and also try to be mainstream. It's very weird.
It's kind of funny - mostly sad - that we only have one even semi-mainstream "based publisher."
