I suspect this is yet another inept meme from one of Alfie's "Lefty Friends." The idea seems to be to ridicule conservatives calling out the war on Christmas by bringing up two thousand-year-old Pagan celebrations that no one celebrates anymore as a comparison.
That and conveniently gloss over the fact that most Christmas celebrations are two thousand year old pagan celebrations with Christian wallpaper over top of them.
Meh, either way I just object to this format of thread. Random image, zero explanation, just OP fishing for dopamine and clogging up the forum with rubbish posts. This sort of thing should be actively ridiculed and discouraged as the sort of low effort trash that it is.
I almost always skip over these posts Alfredic does, but I find this funny considering this forum averages at 20~25 article posts in 24 hours and about half of them are usually uninteresting. That's not hard to sift through.
It's the principle of the thing.
