Race labeling in US is absurd. Most people think of Asians as Chinese, Japanese, Koreans and not Indians. Some time Indians count as Asians also Arabs count as Asians when the news want to hide the origin. But Arabs also count as white and Asians count as white, also Arabs are brown.
In Britain, it's Pakistanis who are labeled 'Asians'. I've never heard of any case where Arabs were labeled as Asians. In America, nearly all Arabs are considered white, for some reason.
