The judge was Anne Meier-Göring, a huge SJW.
The defense lawyers first argued that the immigrants were young males and could not control themselves because they were "under the effects of testosterone".
Judge Meier quickly rebutted that with "young men who are under testosterone also adhere to the law."
That didn't fly because it was bullshit, but more importantly because testosterone = maleness = BAD!!!
The defense lawyers quickly adjusted to the Judge SJW background and went for an "oppressed socio-cultural traumatic experience" inflicted on these young men by the evil patriarchy.

sounds like the judge should join the migrants on the remains repatriation flight.
Flights are expensive and if they board off, they'll try coming back again. Cut'em up and use catapults to throw the parts across the border, create a fetid, disease-ridden hell-wall. To stay there is to die, to leave is a chance at a new life.
