A heavily armed man killed himself rather than carry out an apparent plan to shoot up a mountaintop amusement park in Colorado, his body discovered in a bathroom next to words scrawled on the wall, “I am not a killer,” authorities said Monday.
Some feds tried to get him to carry out an attack on innocent people but he refused
It really angers me that there are public records of the FBI doing this (Khalil Abu Rayyan) and people still think that Salvador Ramos was able to afford a 2,000 dollar rifle and a 600 dollar optic, among other weapons, on a fast food job and just decided to shoot up an elementary school on his own. I guess the realization that the government actively goads people into mass murder so that the utopian dream will meet a little less resistance is too much for some people.

Couldn't he have used a new credit card? When I just graduated HS I started getting "pre-approved!" offers for cards with several thousand dollars spending limits.
Yeah that is possible. I guess it's been a while since I was getting my first card. I still find it odd an 18 year old would buy a daniel defense rifle and eotech without some outside input.
The major issue with Ramos was that the gun he bought (Daniel Defense) could only be sent to gun shops in San Antonio...which none of the shops ever saw him, nor was he on any of their videos.
I’m not sure why that would be true- I’ve purchased guns online before and I was able to pick which FFL they were sent to. DD may have a relationship with some FFLs in San Antonio where the fee is lower, but any FFL should be able to do the transfer.
I mean do you think any shops are going to jump up and say "oh yeah that was us, we sold to the school shooter"? It is apparently known where he purchased the guns. Should they really throw some random store owner under the bus to appease the theorists?
On the contrary, it far easier to fake this than an actual attack. You don't have people analyzing a weird police response, no video or cameras that can be matched to a person, no accounts to scrub, no one pointing out the inevitable mistakes they make, no crisis actors, no payoffs. You don't even need a patsy.
Just "find" a weapon in a bathroom stall, load up a body bag with a mannequin, and grab a name out of the RNG. Fear, fear, fear! For pennies on the dollar.

MKUltra didn't work right on him. Good for that guy breaking out of the brainwashing.
We saw with Gretchen Whitmer the feds find some lonely guys, were paying for everything and forcing the guys to do it.

It's pretty easy to spend your life savings on something when you don't plan to live any longer.
nobody likes a quitter
The FBI especially
An AR style rifle?
"We want to take away ARs, and we want to take away rifles. So, yes, this rifle is certainly AR-style."
It was a .22 with cool add ons ok!
Isn’t this the third time this has happened in the last few months? Looks like the Fed are getting sloppy.

On the plus side, at least this approach doesn't require dead kids.
