Sarah Camino had been in a relationship for two years when she found out she was pregnant. The father ... had been using drugs lately and had been fired from his last four jobs; when she ventured that she was scared she might wind up raising the child alone, he got defensive and walked out.

Ms. Camino, a beautician and hospitality worker, checks all the boxes of the demographic that has been targeted for advice in recent months by an array of columnists and authors who have argued for the promotion and prioritizing of marriage, sometimes for the sake of overall happiness but more often for the sake of children’s well-being. She’s a 37-year-old single mother without a college degree. ... She had planned to stay with the father, but that’s not how it happened. “I didn’t think he was going to leave me like this,” she said.

You gotta love how the women they're using as examples chose tingles above all else and now bring nothing but some deadbeat's bastard offspring to the table. Maybe asking men what dating is like would prove more illuminating than listening to the usual complaints from entitled roasties. And FFS 2 parent households do better because the biological father is around. Getting some cuck to come in and pay the bills doesn't replace that, and bringing in people who are not biologically related entails all kinds of risks.

The last person she went out with ghosted her, disappearing without warning after four months of dating. “There are women that are just out here trying, and the men aren’t ready,” she told me. “They don’t care, most of them.” Who, exactly, is Ms. Camino supposed to marry?

A male who's willing to raise her bastard kid and put up with the fact that she's 37? Those exist, they're just not the 6' 4'' rich male model that feminism told her is her birthright. The guys she's going after are out of her league because she feels entitled to the kind of gigachad who blew her back out when she 20.

But what was once dismissed as the complaint of picky women is now supported by a raft of data. The same pundits plugging marriage also bemoan the crisis among men and boys, what has come to be known as male drift — men turning away from college, dropping out of the work force or failing to look after their health. Ms. Kearney, for example, acknowledges that improving men’s economic position, especially men without college degrees, is an important step toward making them more attractive partners.

No, it's still picky women. There are plenty of good men with careers who get passed over for not being in the top 5% in terms of physical attributes. By the time those guys show up on women's radar the women are like the two featured in this article: ran through whores looking for a retirement plan. Men with careers don't want that because they know it's divorce rape waiting to happen.

it seems that by the time men begin dating, they are relatively “limited in their ability and willingness to be fully emotionally present and available,”

Again, once they start selecting for emotional availability they'll get it. But the 5% of guys they're fighting over don't need to put up with that crap to get women, and it doesn't do jack shit for the other 95%.

When she asks her male friends to set her up with their friends, they consistently tell her that no one they know would be good enough for her. “It’s like, how bad are you guys?” she marvels.

I'm marveling at how retarded this bitch is. It's obvious that they're just soothing her ego to avoid unnecessary drama. The real reason is that they know that she's an entitled roastie who will reject anyone they set her up with for "not being good enough" so they avoid wasting their male friends' time.

men turning away from college, dropping out of the work force or failing to look after their health

Men being turned away from college, disincentivized and put last in every application criteria (especially if white). Being pushed out of the work force by HR goons and diversity criteria, while the work pool is deliberately destroyed by the globalists who crow abut turning the US into a service based economy. Illegal immigration is destroying shit too. Failing to look after their health - absurd broken medical system combined with depression because of the above.

Ignorant cuntery at it's best. Men ruined, women most affected.

men turning away from college,

Looking at the scholarships, funds, and bursaries... Seems like the group that has the 60% share of college population (women) gets all of them.

Looking at the social clubs, activist clubs, and hobby clubs... Seems like the group that has the 60% share of college population (women) gets all of them.

Looking at the sexual health services, mental health services, and general wellness care... Seems like the group that has the 60% share of college population (women) gets all of them.

The person quoted there is so dishonest. It's not "turning away from them", it's "has been turned away BY them". Colleges have said "go away, we do not want your kind 'round these parts.", and men, being logical and rational creatures, acknowledged it and moved on.
