Ah yes, Silk. Another character created by Dan Slott, who was retconned in as having been bitten by the same spider as Peter, who has better powers than Peter since she not only still has her organic web shooters but can use them to create her costume as needed in multiple colours, and as of the recent Spider-Verse comic, written by Slott ofc, turns out to be more important than Peter.
Speaking of that comic, Slott used it to retcon in yet another new character, Spider-Boy.
It really is amazing how the extent of Spiderman's writers creativity is "another spider powered one, another symbiote" over and over.
Even Batman only threw in a Manbat and called it a day with the bat people.
Man that’s like naming a Superman clone from India “Elephantman” or “Flying Naan.” It’s pretty funny.
