Apparently they also made Blackcat gay in the new game? So it fits with their modus operandi to basically add globohomo to every aspect of their game.
Of course they fucking did. Stupid assholes. Having another possibile love interest other than "Very Plain" up there would be out of the question.
That's the first thing that came to mind. They usually take the pretty ones and gay them up to further demoralise the public... it's essentially a giant ESG message that reads, "Pretty women aren't interested in straight males, bigot!!!!"
