Not sure if I can actually avoid it, and considering I don’t have the money to move out just yet, I’m not sure if I can even really avoid taking it, so I’m trying to see if I have any options outside of just confronting mom there, as I already have told her this when she told me she wants me to get one in addition to the annual flu shot, but I’m trying to see if the confrontation fails and I end up having to take it, it’s possible to even flush the spike proteins and whatnot out, as a last resort.
If not, then fuck, but if so, I’ll try that, I just saw that MSM says it’s not possible but I wanna make sure that’s actually the case before I do something, so if you guys have had to do that before, let me know. Not having a higher paying job right now sucks ass.
Your mom is like 2 years late.
Nah, I already took the first one because we have our bed ridden grandmother and she got the whole family to take theirs during that early period, I thought I couldn’t avoid the third one so I took that one reluctantly, but I’ve only gotten flu shots since, and the topic hasn’t come up until now.
The flu shot is equally stupid.
How many years have we had the flu shot? 20? 30?
Do we still have flu? Yes. Then the shot doesn't work.
"But I would get more flu if I didn't get it."
Just. Total. Nonsense.
More interesting is if you take a map of flu death rate by country, and flu vaccination uptake rate by country (among 65+, which is all the deaths).
Not a lot of countries have that data visible, but among the ones that do there is a clear correlation, the more vaccines the more deaths. Britain and Mexico have high deaths and high vaccination rate, Australia and France have low deaths and low vaccination rate, Eastern Europe has rates of both in the floor, and USA in the middle.
Some of that can be driven by having more deaths making people go out and get the vaccine, but if the vaccine actually worked you'd be able to see it on the macro level with 75% of the population getting it, and it simply doesn't do shit. It looks like it's even causal with how many more deaths pop up with more vaccines.
Flu shot is a different kind of stupid. It's a normal vaccine not mRNA. It's just inoculating you to a virus that can easily mutate around immunity so lots of people getting the shot just means we get infected with a different strain.
Flu shot is for very old people and works best when young people don't get it.
That's what I was thinking. It's basically a very low risk, low reward situation. If it doesn't work, then it doesn't work, if it works, then well, that's great, but most likely it won't work. But it's not a clot shot, I think more than anything the only thing you waste is your time getting one.
I am assuming most people in this sub still has faith in the "normal" style vaccines.
I'd recommend my 77 year old father to get it, but I don't see much of a need to get it.
Amazing how susceptible people are to black-and-white thinking. From "SAFE AND EFFECTIVE" to this. Obviously, if the flu shot prevents 2/3 of cases of the flu, it "works" to some extent - and it is something rather good for vulnerable groups who have a signfiicant risk of dying from the flu.
The flu shot is supposed to reduce the severity of the flu. It always makes me sicker than the flu itself
The two times in my life I ever got it, it did that to me. Once was so sick I had to miss work for 2 days. I swore never again.
My God you have no spine. Grow one.
He has no spine because he was considerate of his bed ridden grandmother when it was still widely thought that the vaccine would stop transmission?
No, since he got a third injection.
