Hey, I won't get in the way of individual choice. The issue came when players were being punished/admonished by their team for NOT doing that.
If you are a player you are representing the team while playing, I don´t think you should get the "individual choice" of displaying whatever political views you hold during the game, they should be neutral, they can display the homosexual flag in their own car bump sticker or whatever but not while playing, otherwise every other player is going to want to display the views they hold too, it pollutes sport. Imagine a team, some of them with the Palestinian flag other players in the same team with the Israeli flag, that is not sport, do it in your own house.
I don't know about the NHL, but the NFL has strict in-uniform dress codes. They will fine players for leaving their shirts untucked and things like that. Anyone invoking "individual choice" over this is either malicious or uniformed.
The NFL also has a list of approved leftist political slogans for players to put on their helmets, and leftist political slogans plastered across the end zones.
Yep. There is no individuality. You are allowing to put leftist garbage on your uniform, and that's it. It is funny when guys with helmets that say "End Hate" on them get in fights and swing them at each other though.
Compelled speech is for fags.
