This is why I hate id politics. A black female activist found a convoluted way to make Castlevania about Yoruba gods. Did you know in Castlevania Bloodlines Elizabeth Bathory caused WWI by manipulating a bunch of people? Imagine if Nocturne was a fun mistery thriller set during the french revolution, but no. It has to be about muh slavery
I read up a little about Yoruba and Voodoo. You could easily make a story from that, especially that one guy with the top hat. They act surprised when people get upset about injecting this crap into pre-established shows, but unfortunately lots of normies watch
