If Israel and Palestine/Iran/Whoever got along great and there was no conflict how could the Israelis convince the USA that they need more Shekels to promote stability in the middle-east (literally their whole existence is the definition of instability). The American military and those who profit foam at the mouth and say yassss we must protect our greatest ally. America sends foreign aid to Israel. Israel buys American weapons. Certain Americans get rich off tax payers. The Israeli government pockets the change. Meanwhile in Israel, the government gets to use the fear of a conflict next door as a means to control the masses. We need to XYZ or else Israel will be in danger from evil terrorists.
