Pedos exist and will keep existing. Let them use cartoons and AI to take the steam off. It hurts no one and doesn't lead to action in real life. Does violent games lead to murder? Nope. This is no different. If you're against Loli, you might as well be against violent games too. Technically it's more degenerate to play a game where you kill very realistic people on repeat than jacking off to an unrealistic cartoon.
Also, art is an extension of your mind. Banning any type of art is very close to thought police 1984 bs. All thoughts should be permitted. Even the most vile trash that you can think of. What's not allowed is acts in the real world that break the social contract. Again, one doesn't lead to the other. Case in point, look at Japan, the cradle of degeneracy. It's more functional than any western country because the people there understand this principle but also respect the social contract.
It can't be stopped "in the privacy of their own homes" but it can be shut out of even the borderlands of the public sphere.

100% this. Banning something with 0 victims is retarded and on the same level as hate i.e. thought crimes. If you ban loli, you need to ban anime in it's entirety since there's no definitive line for age or sexual arousal.
Characters can look 4 or 40 depending entirely on context, drawing style or even viewer interpretation. A degenerate coomer can fap to any portrayal of a cute, underage character even with absolutely no sexual undertones. Or in other words, if you could save a million children from harm, but have to admit you're wrong one single time, would you do it? Most politicians won't. It's one of those contrary things, like how increasing the added-penalty zone area around schools for drug crimes, increases the amount of drug crimes around schools. You'd think it would lower it, but no. And you could save lives and livelihoods by reducing the area around schools that are more heavily policed and penalized, but no politician in their right or left mind would ever advocate for LESS area on that regard, no matter the guaranteed, well-researched, well-established, proven good it would do.
