It can't be stopped "in the privacy of their own homes" but it can be shut out of even the borderlands of the public sphere.
Laws aren't just about punishing people who break them, they are about signaling the kind of society we want to have. And I don't know about you but I want to have the kind of society where the perverts who are into cartoon child porn are terrified of anyone finding out about their degeneracy.
Yes I agree. Tolerance but not acceptance. Basically ban the publicity of it and don't let it be normalized. That goes for the rainbow crowd as well and is where we massively failed in the west.
100% this. Banning something with 0 victims is retarded and on the same level as hate i.e. thought crimes. If you ban loli, you need to ban anime in it's entirety since there's no definitive line for age or sexual arousal.
Characters can look 4 or 40 depending entirely on context, drawing style or even viewer interpretation. A degenerate coomer can fap to any portrayal of a cute, underage character even with absolutely no sexual undertones. We've also seen leftists crying pedo over obviously mature adult characters in adult settings e.g. University/office.
Anyone stupid enough to call loli hentai literal cp cannot distinguish fiction from reality. It's porn, sure, but then they should be equally outraged at fictional rape, murder, torture, illegal activity or depictions of anything objectional- even for the purpose of "stopping" it in the course of telling a story since it's "hurting" the characters.
If you want to stop people watching anime- loli or otherwise, don't make it illegal, make it [more] socially cringe. Anything else leaves the door wide open for tyrannical laws.
