"Y'all" was part of pretending to be part of something they're not. Kind of like how Democrats take on southern accents only when addressing southern audiences.
Narcissistic, psychopathic, sociopathic... I can't keep track of the categories anymore. Just "yes".
Couldn't agree more. To this day, ya'll annoys me the most.
Regarding ad hominem, the funny part is how the retards more often than not didn't know what it meant. If I call someone a retard, and that is completely independent of the actual argument I'm making, it has nothing to do with the ad hominen fallacy. It is only ad hominem if one says you are retarded, therefore I'm correct.
I mostly see it on crappy mass produced entertainment (games, TV, etc.) blog headlines.
I just did a search for "here for it" Kotaku, to test my theory and, gotta say...I'm like so not here for that. Anyway:
Square Enix Is Drowning 2022 With New RPGs, And We're Here For It
The Sims 4 Announces Two New Kits, And I’m Here For It
Magic's New Set Stars A Black Man Who Can Bend Time, And I'm Here For It
Ghostwire: Tokyo Looks Like Dishonored In Modern-Day Japan And I’m Here For It
I've always thought of it as stupid blog-speak, I don't see real people using it much, but not surprising that it trickled down/up from somewhere.

I've noticed the "ya'll" thing as well. It's fucking bizarre.

Millennial-isms are almost universally retarded.
And that's a good thing

A lot of the cringey stuff being said nowadays makes me want to tear my ears off. It either sounds incredibly elitist or just annoying.
When I saw that I'm here for it stuff invade, my first thought was the Ghost units in StarCraft
"I'm here" "I'm gone!"
But no, it's just juvenile lib speak.
They invent ways to say the same thing as a normal person, but with a level of group think annoyance that makes you not want to deal with it.
It’s peak narcissism. It’s basically say, yeah it’s cool that this is happening but, HAVE YOU NOTICED THAT I’M HERE!
There’s no added substance, no critique, no judgement.
"Folks" is an interesting one. "Folks, blah blah blah" is still non cringe.
"Blah blah blah, trans folks" etc is cringe.
It's the same as saying," I like this trend ". I see it in places about subscription boxes, or makeup.
