That's recency bias at work. It took a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to normalize criticism of the ADL. The kosher right knows they can't put that genie back in the lamp without self-discrediting so they are co-opting anti-ADL sentiment into "actually the worse thing about the ADL is that they promote anti-semitism."
It's funny seeing jewish pundits on the right try and claim the ADL doesn't represent jews, but rather is just a radical leftist org that happens to be run by jews.
A more honest but still defensive take would be "it represents some Jews". Which wouldn't even be a lie, since "some" can be any number between 2 and all-but-one.
