I guess he thinks the brand will make some sort of comeback.
Expand that to In-Bev product if you want to make a difference, you may unwittingly switch to another offering. They are big.
Checked the label at the grocery store for something that seemed smaller. "Brewed by AB". Made a different selection.
It would be nice to have stickers people could slap onto labels that say "this is repackaged bud light" similar to the gay I Did That gas pump stickers.
give it 5 years, if the company survives the whole controversy will be ancient history and the general public will forget. after deluging sports fans and tech Bros with ads portraying them as "the normal beer", they'll be back in business.
and what if the next ad is based and involves liberal use of flamethrowers?
I think he might be shooting himself in the foot there. People will be less likely to support Bud if they know he's a shareholder
