Good effort but I'd take inspiration from the French on this one.
What they did with speed cameras was there was a small hole in the camera, they'd use expanding foam to fill it up, destroy the equipment inside and then they can't just clean it, it'd be out of action for weeks at huge expense.
I'm in favor of destroying them anyway that is possible. Foam, water, saw it off, smash it with a bat, get a screwdriver and take it apart to sell the pieces, whatever is needed.
I prefer the foam because there's no obvious damage to it so they don't know the reason until the physically check it of why it doesn't work and we all know how slow bureaucrats are.
Sounds like a great solution. Of course, torn down cameras smashed to bits on the ground I think is a good symbol too. Whichever way works at the moment.
Under the plans, people who drive in the zone in a vehicle which does not meet minimum emissions standards are now required to pay a £12.50 daily fee or risk a £180 fine, reduced to £90 if paid within 14 days.
To comply with Ulez standards, petrol cars must generally have been first registered after 2005, while most diesel cars registered after September 2015 are also exempt from the charge.
So, it's a tax on poor people that drive old cars. No one can kick you when you're down like the government.
“And how we burned during rush hour on the M1 later, thinking: What would things have been like if every ULEZ operative, when he went out at night to install those cameras, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?"

What if I can't find the hole? Just start spraying anyway?
Boil 'em mash 'em stick 'em in a stew.
I have to wonder if it's because regular people use roads. ULEZ is there to enrich tyranny, so there will be a lot more motivation to fix it fast.
Do both, then.
Red paint outside, foam inside.
''Hey boss, I got the paint off the camera. I'k gonna go roll to the next one."

Oh come on, their not even trying to hide it!
Ah, more environmentalist tyranny.
Nine out of ten cameras, that's up there with dentists and cats for ratios!
Yep it's quite great of a start. They need to keep taking them down, make them too annoying to deal with.
MAKE THEM NEED NOTHING LESS THAN A MILITARY ESCORT TO PUT THE CAMERAS UP
Make them post a platoon to protect every one of them!
i want them to fear that they'll be hanging from those same poles if they continue putting them up.
