Yes! I'm glad it's not just me noticing this, I was wondering why I was getting so bothered by the media's writing lately and this article perfectly explained it for me. We all know they were full of shit when it came to their vaunted professionalism but they've been having a major mask off moment lately and their articles more and more are now looking like an average reddit post.
I wouldn't be surprised to start seeing l33t speak leaking it's way into some places because they just can't seem to be bothered anymore. These people are supposed to be professional writers yet more and more they keep on posting articles like it's their own personal tumblr blog.
So is Andrew Tate (swallows hard) correct? Is there any reason to be concerned about seed oils posing a hazard to your health?
Oh wait, there it is, the cringe is leaking into their articles big time.
It's definitely showing up in movies and shows where you normally wouldn't see it. Like the Picard show having people drop f-bombs or that other woke Star Trek show that had the entire crew talking like college-aged brats (cussing, stupid humor, etc).
Ej Dickson is a Senior Writer for Rolling Stone covering internet culture. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, New York Magazine, Elle, GQ, and Playboy, among others. She's also been featured on NPR's All Things Considered and This American Life, as well as the Hulu docuseries "Only Fans: Selling Sexy." Ej enjoys musicals, being a Disney adult, and playing with her three-legged, epileptic border collie Ringo Daphne. The New Yorker once called her "ineffably cool."
What a cursed existence that must be. Yikes, sweaty.
Taken from another one of her Rolling Stone articles:
To declare oneself a Disney fan in adulthood is to profess to being nothing less than an uncritical bubblehead ensconced in one’s own privilege, suspended in a state of permanent adolescence, raised on a diet of wasp-waisted princesses and talking-animal sidekicks and dancing candelabras, refusing to acknowledge the grim reality that dreams really don’t come true.
Not with that attitude at least, and she even claims being a Disney adult. Work too long with the internet and become a meme I guess.
meh, experts say a lot of things. most of these things are, indeed, bullshit.
Also:
stay classy, Rolling Stone

“Experts” say whatever they’re paid to say.
