I attend a monthly meeting where there’s at least 20 minutes devoted to white men need not apply. I suspect the lawsuit will go nowhere. There’s a chart of blacks and the blacks number has to go up. It’s literally a written-down key indicator for the company.
I'm not sure on what legal principle its been allowed to this point. I also can't imagine what would have changed (this seems like it would have happened well before recent SC decisions; I'm assuming those are too recent to make a difference). Sounds like this is a case being brought by people trying to make a difference. Maybe they though a female employee presents a more valid case.

I wish. I have a family to support. These meetings do shatter morale though. Luckily there’s no one above me checking time, so I can get some morale back with many, many very short days.
