Its become so questionable I'm starting to not immediately assume Nazis in general are that bad, because the same people who taught me that I've caught doing the same to people who very much weren't.
I am told it's bad to assume entire nations or ethnic groups of people are bad.
The vast majority of Germans had no influence in the Nazi part and yet people seem to have been willing enough to smear them as Nazis. I guess just like we say all the Russians were communists even though who knows how they actually felt. Everyone had to fight.
I think that young and poor men die fighting old and rich men's wars. Perhaps we could look at it from that angle instead of trying to decide who's casus belli seems more kosher.
