I love how when we say something is political we get “comic books and games have always been woke” but being gay isn’t political, nevermind that a small portion of the population gets a massive amount of attention. Some of those comments were so idiotic
Being gay wasn't political until they made it political. Not coincidentally, I had no problem with the gay community until fairly recently.
I wonder, when the pendulum swings back, will they even realize how much of the pushback is their own fault? Just kidding. I know the answer is "no".
NAMBLA was a founding member of the IGLA, the largest gay organization in the world. It took an act of Congress, The UN, and Bill fucking Clinton threatening to pull their funding to make them drop NAMBLA from their membership after twenty years. That isn't to mention how the entire AIDs epidemic was treated exactly like COVID was, wherein every part of it was politicized instead of any real logic. Shit Pride Parades were openly degenerate and disgusting sex in public events since their outset, it was just less trannies and more leather pants gays before the last decade.
Being gay has always been a political thing, short of literally staying home and not participating in any part of "gay culture" whatsoever. Shit Political Lesbianism is a founding tenant of Post-WW2 feminism, and that is basically the guide book to all things "dyke and butch" to this day.
If you didn't have a problem with it until recently, that's because you weren't paying attention because none of this is new. The only thing they added was the Trannies, who aren't any worse than the Gays of yesteryear who were bugchasing and trying to legalize child fucking just the same.
The backlash will just be proof that they were right all along.

I mean as a Christian I have my views regarding homosexuality and stuff but I’m not going around bothering them or trying to preach to them and never have. I’m just not interested in lgbt content. But you are right with your overall point.
