Ukraine? Ukraine has always been very traditional. At the moment, it is still Democrats pushing for drafting women. And feminists support it because there never will be any draft, so it's a cheap way to advance the fiction that men and women are the same.
I'm not talking about the women from Ukraine but for the leftist I know, suddenly they were upset men were leaving Ukraine and seemed very ok with women leaving, even defended it - as they need the women to re-populate the country after the war. This was also what I've seen on twitter.
It is further cemented if you think about women suddenly getting pregnant before having to be deployed.
It is all fun and games as long as you do not have to suffer the consequences.

If Ukraine started forcibly drafting women, they'd support that to. They have no mind.

I still doubt they would agree with women being drafted in case of war if it is them, they agree only to the point they believe it will never come to pass. If war was imminent I am certain most women will suddenly discover traditional roles.
