In case you were wondering why TV and movies sucks so hard lately

Damn, that's some dedication. Although i wouldn't describe the better part of at least 3 decades as 'lately'

TV never recovered from the last writer's strike, so they're not entirely wrong.

I remember there being a marked decline in the quality of TV generally in the wake of the 2008 writers strike. The quality of television programming never seemed to recover.
