Fundamentally, being a woke activist means being a shill of the establishment as a stormtrooper. The idea here is that the Social Justice Racket can expand by financing your personal operation, making you dependent on it's success.
"Just tell people what the establishment wants them to hear and you'll get money."

They are not wrong, in that Patreon harasses and harms right-wing creators (among others who while not right-wing, do not align to their narrow political views), and therefore to do well on Patreon, you'd want to go somewhat woke at least performatively.
Success overall, though, if you're up for using YouTube, Twitch, SubscribeStar, OnlyFans, whatever else, you're better off avoiding it: Trad-media is hard left, so people going online will be more receptive as a general mass audience to alternative views from the stagnant mass media.
How about just selling products and services people want and shutting the fuck up about social issues?
That works.
