I think she is a good actress and doesn’t antagonize fans but at some point I totally get people rolling their eyes at yet another female led Star Wars show. There were already women who liked Star Wars before Disney bought it. When I was in EU forums in the 90s and early 00s plenty of women were there to talk about the books. I’d say the ratio was 65/35. Not sure how many new female fans they factually have made now. Plus with these new movies normies will go see them so I feel they will make money unfortunately

Bo Katan has been in charge of the Mandalorians three times now, and fucked up every previous attempt at "retaking Mandalore", a planet that S3 has shown to be:
Abandoned: because nobody actually fucking wants it, except Bo Katan.
RIGHT FUCKING THERE: because on top of hyperspace being instantaneous in SW now the ease of getting to this lost homeworld is non existent.
Nothing like the brochure: because it was reported to have been bombed into a wasteland. And yet several times now it's been visited in S3.
As of right now in the show Bo Katan's character developement can be accurately described as:
Right back to where she was in the Clone Wars, over 20 years ago.
Filoni is just wanking off another of his OC yet again which will be the same sort of show Ashoka ends up being while ripping off Heir to the Empire with Thrawn despite KK claiming "tHerE's no SoURcE maTeRiAL!"
That's not hyperbole, they're literally making Zhan's Heir to the Empire, but with Ashoka instead of Luke because Disney has zero creativity.
He really is, and I'm glad more and more SW fans are realising this.
On top of introducing so many new OCs that managed to survive through both Order 66 and the entirety of The Empire, he introduced time travel to a 40 year old franchise just to keep one of those OC alive.
Time travel can be extremely hit or miss depending on what kind of time travel it ends up being but most franchises introduce it early enough for it to be somewhat accepted as a thing.
Forty. Fucking. Years. is outright tumblr tier effort though just to make sure his waifu doesn't get killed by Vader.
Which is frustrating for EU fans because when Disney bought Star Wars people were asking for Heir to the Empire. I said if you aren’t using what Lucas gave you then adapt Thrawn books or NJO. I feel the Rey movie will bastardize the Jedi academy books and have her do what Luke did. Or why not have her defeat the Vong with her mind
Keep in mind that movie is going to be set 15 years after the Disney trilogy because those movies are that toxic now. Even Disney doesn't want to touch their own content with a 10 foot year pole.
Because of the timeskip it also means Disney can pick and mix which characters get brought back. Oscar Isaac is a maybe as his contract for Moonknight probably gives Disney enough leverage to "ask" him to star in the new SW movies, regardless of how well the character gets treated. Again.
Wouldn't surprise me if he gets the original plan for Wedge which was to bring him back and kill him off too, just like happened with almost every legacy character except robot fucking magic black man Lando.

'Yuuzhan Vong' means "the children of Yun-Yuuzhan" so to call them otherwise suggests they have been disowned by their gods [and family], and as a society were described as "religious zealots" at the best of times.

They are great villains and I remember being shocked about Chewbacca dying and the opening of Vector Prime when the Yuuzhan Vong spy kills everyone at the outpost on the edge of the galaxy. Another cool thing about Vector Prime was Mark Hamill doing the commercial for it.
They made a big deal about how being Madalorian means never taking off your helmet and now THE Mandalorian is going to be some bitch who constantly takes her helmet off? The ultimate Mando supremacist who wants to retake the motherland doesn't adhere to the old ways?
