Actually I think they are anticipating the opposite.
Instead they'll use the lack of protests (After J6 people know to avoid this shit) to show how his support is all "Russian bots" and try to dismiss his candidacy.
They are just doing this to push all the J6 shit out of the news cycle since it is no longer positive for them, as well as Biden being paid off by the Chinese.
And of course they would love nothing more than violent protests from Trump supporters
Eventually people will be walking into cattle cars saying “at least we never took the bait”.
