It is a delusion so deep and fundamental that it is only surpassed in its rejection of reality by liberals in general and trannies in particular.

Joining a "community" comprised of failures who only reinforce and validate the very delusions that cause them to remain failures, is only going to make the problem (being unappealing) worse and make overcoming it more difficult.

That is literally how mentally ill people think. It's how communists and trannies think. Rational human beings understand that reality comes first, and your sense of self is subordinate to that and subject to that. There is a word for people who insist upon what is in their mind as superior to reality, and that word is "delusional".

Change and growth is the hallmark of maturity. People who get "stuck" and refuse to change their personalities over time to adapt to reality are typically mentally ill, or at the least seriously dysfunctional. As a rule, these people are unhappy. Constantly having to deal with the dissonance between delusion and reality is a very frustrating thing. This is why trannies are so suicidal and liberals are so unhappy.

One of the biggest problems with trusting young men, and the biggest red pill they need to learn, is: women lie, pretty much all the time, and as a rule. Women also spend a lot of time in particular lying to and manipulating young boys since women dominate the role of authority figure and caretaker for children in general. These adult (typically feminist) women don't want to help boys grow up to be more appealing or attractive, they want the boys to end up being more submissive and easily dominated.
