DiD YoU KnOw ThAt ApRiL wAs OrIgInAlY BLACK????
I asked someone to find me a single black person named 'April' and they blocked me.
It'd be like having a white character named Laticia.
we wuz months and shiet
I knew a black woman named April once. No lie!
In fact, that’s the only April in real life I’ve ever met.
My absolute favorite gigabrainless take on this: https://archive.is/i8x42
In the black and white picture she has the same skin color as the other dude...is he black too? No, because that's not what black people look like in black and white comics.
And then they follow up with a picture of one of the whitest "black" women ever which, even if that was totally supposed to be April's inspiration...is still not the abomination we see in this new iteration, and looks much closer to the traditional version of April than the new one.
Absolute retardation.
My other favorite, even more deranged take: https://archive.is/34jAf
I wish I could be shocked at the level of brain damage. I really wish I could
They're not brain damaged, they know exactly what they're doing. They are lying with glee.
The whole "April was originally..." argument would hold more water if they actually made April look like how she was originally designed in the first comic. This fat, ugly, homeless-looking, hipster glasses-wearing nerd ain't it. Not even close.
It's not black April, it's black Irma.
And no matter how many times you debunk this they keep coming at you. Smh.
Was she originally an ugly fat-ass too?
