And that possibly only happened because a certain Norman King needed money so decided to tax the slavers but ending up creating 'air to pure for slaves to breathe'
A true movie or mini series about that (African kingdoms enslaving other Africans) would actually be interesting and may even open some eyes or give perspective.
It'll NEVER happen in this decade, the West would block it harder than China blocks Winne the Pooh references.
Imagine showing ACTUAL history of Africans selling off their defeated rivals to the Arabs that would castrate them, the Europeans for booze and guns then to have the British kick their ass but have the freed slaves side with the British.
I think a good mini series could be made. Thomas Sowell gives a very good summary of the world history of slavery in one of his books. I’d use that as a template and hire some researchers
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it as I love seeing history shown to people but I don't think the people that could produce it currently would create an accurate representation of history.
Me neither. I was just throwing ideas around. In my fantasy I’d give Thomas Sowell complete control of the project and would hire crew of legit historians. But like you said Hollywood would make white people the villains or say the African kingdoms were exercising white supremacy even before Europeans arrived
Yea I remember. I was just doing some wishful thinking. Like if the did a movie about Mansa Musa I’m sure they would find a way to make Europeans look evil despite the fact that his kingdom was gone before the even came to Africa
The Chinese could do it. They'd also get everything else historically wrong, but they wouldn't push western propaganda. They just don't have the incentive.
See, I think there's a more historically accurate black slavery in africa series from the 70s and 80s. I think it already exists, I just can't remember it atm.
Wishful thinking I guess. I have seen some people who watched a video about African slavery be really shocked because it totally went against what they learned in school
Booker T is one of my personal heroes and I recommend his books to anyone. Up from slavery is a great lesson that where you start in life doesn’t have to be where you end up and My Larger Education is full of wisdom. He gets attacked by black lefties today but he was right about hard work and going after race grifters. He also was realistic in saying that it will take time for blacks to be at the same economic level as whites and it would require hard work.
I celebrate Black history month by reminding them that if it wasn't for white people they'd still be enslaving each other, then I point to Libya...

Isn’t that the truth
Turn it into an epic movie and make them into some fantasy culture with magic and tech. Like Wakan- oh. Wait.
They just made a propaganda piece whitewashing the black slavers (The Woman King), so you'll be waiting a while.

I didn’t think of that. It’s true

Really? I’d be interested in watching.

I wish you were wrong but I can see that happening
What a faggot.
The left understood civil rights was a strategic political move. The right actually believes in it.
Embarrassing as Fuck
Allegedly the FBI has tapes of MLK cheering on some other minister raping some woman. Lotus Eaters are talking about it at the moment.
For some reason I read this as edible bust, and I pictured Ted Cruz gnawing on a chocolate version of MLK like a zombie. That was more fun.
Does he write his own tweets, or is he not aware liking MLK is fast becoming the "1990s feminism is trad" for race politics? It's ALL shit.
That guy whose communist speech writer defended the couple that was executed for selling US intel to the Soviets?
