Booker T is one of my personal heroes and I recommend his books to anyone. Up from slavery is a great lesson that where you start in life doesn’t have to be where you end up and My Larger Education is full of wisdom. He gets attacked by black lefties today but he was right about hard work and going after race grifters. He also was realistic in saying that it will take time for blacks to be at the same economic level as whites and it would require hard work.
