There's something to that thought really. Women cower away from dangerous things they perceive to be dangerous. Case in point, one of my cousins got a knife for Christmas. Watching the reactions of the women, you'd think they just watched someone die in front of them. These aren't screeching lib women either. I mean he just turned 10, he's way more than old enough to use a knife.
Women do not understand male nature , the necessity of force and expect someone to just magically show up to protect them, as has been the case their whole lives.
When I was a kid, women AND men were expected to help on the farm by the time they were ten, both women and men would have been handling and using knives to cook, skin, or chop things for five years at that point.

Only men have responsibility nowadays. Women have the whole world altered to keep them safe.
