Disney is going to make its employees physically show up to work 4 days a week (notthebee.com)

THE HORROR: Woke Disney is going to make its employees physically show up to work 4 days a week!
The woke snowflake Millennials and Gen Zers that work at Disney just received one of the most shocking and depressing memos they could ever imagine.

You wanna know what's really funny? The situation is the exact opposite in Germany: workers actually want to return to the office, because of energy costs.

The commute is less expensive than paying for heating and electricity when you work from home? Including gas, car maintenance and public transport passes?

While you are correct there is an advantage for having people at the office. When you hire new people they do not integrate properly when they work from home. And I've noticed some push for returning to work from the office in several major tech companies. This makes me think that productivity is an issue. Even my current employer encourages coming to the office, is not mandatory but encouraged.

That being said, I hate cities. I was born and raised in a large city and I hate it. I moved out and I hate every time I have to go to the city.

Sucks for them. WFH is a godsend compared to a soulless commute.

Oh yeah, that'll fix the company!

The problem is not that your employees are working from home, the problem is that your employees are woke commie faggots.

If anything this will drive the remaining non-woke employees, that have a family and kids, to leave

Seriously. It's probably just gonna exacerbate the problem and fill the company with childless weirdos.

It’s funny because Disney is a notoriously low payer too.

It is a tactic when you want to get people to quit. I've seen it before when the company I was working at wanted to reduce the average age of employers. It makes the older ones more likely to quit.

Most of my job can't be done from home (printer operation), and I live three blocks away (7 minute walk). I love how things are set up for me in this, now if only I could just find happiness and companionship.

Anything Disney related in Florida will have a traffic jam that never really goes away. I sort of understand wanting to work from home from that.

I think it is an attempt to change employees. An old company I worked did this to get the older, family oriented people to quit. Any who live outside the city will not put up with this for long.

I think they want to get rid of woke employees but it will have the opposite effect.

If you work for Disney, you work for the church of the mouse basically. You do the work because you love Disney that much and not following the newest orders makes you a sinner.

Trying to get rid of woke while maintaining that feeling of almost religious zeal would be very difficult.
