It's redundant to keep saying it on here, but get the fuck out of blue cities, there is no social cohesion anymore for people to get behind a strong leader, you will not see another Giuliani rise. Blue states rural areas are going to start being just as bad with the relocation efforts from the "demographics are destiny" democrats it will just take another two decades.
I feel bad for people who live in red areas of a blue state because in Illinois for instance all but one county votes blue and they ruin it for the rest of the state. I would imagine most blue states have a lot of red counties

Most counties in blue states are red. It really is one or two counties telling everyone else what they can do, what they have to do, and how they have to live.
EDIT:
Seriously. Look at election results, then sort by, for example, US House. It's all red. And that still doesn't even tell the whole story, since even the things that look blue in that result are also red. For example, look at New Mexico's governor race.
Now, the common counter argument to this is that 'land doesn't vote.' There's more people in the tiny blue areas, which is why they win. This is true. My counter-counter argument is, why should one city tell the rest of the state how to live, when they're hundreds of miles away? I have no problem with cities governing themselves; have at it. They should absolutely have representational decision-making over their own affairs. Again, absolutely no problem. But leave everyone else alone to manage their affairs. I give no fucks how many people live in a location, when it comes to them getting to dictate my life from half the state away. No, fuck you.
If geography doesn't vote, why the fuck should cities get to vote? You govern your shit, I'll govern mine. That's small government. So, you have a couple million people packed in there, very cool. So what? Fucking make all the laws you want, for those millions of people.

Too generous in my opinion, I think there should be an Electoral College for state & local excutive elections like Governor & Mayor respectively. A big city using an Electoral College to elect a Mayor would help all parts of the city be better represented, and Republicans might have a chance in Democrat run big cities.
What about a drug that behaves similarly to prions(on fast-forward) and destroys higher brain functions, leaving the victim a shambling, ever-hungry zombie?
I remember a bugman once said you don't need a gun in the city because you're surrounded by people and they will help if you're being attacked.
Maybe that was before helping was punished by law and society

Don't worry, Oregon just legalized the consumption of psychedelic mushrooms, so that should help calm things down there.
By a human, not a pitbull?
Not a pitbull, but not exactly a human either.
If it's not drugs I'm going to assume it's the kick off of a zombie apocalypse and respond accordingly.

Sounds like the kind of drug it would be tough to get refunds on.
