Terrible analogy. Racing is filled with rules that define the parameters of the competition, ensuring that the players engage correctly with the game. Modern glitch speed running is like throwing it in reverse so you can then drive ten feet, technically cross the finish line, and declare yourself the winner.
If you think even the most glitched speedrun isn't filled with the most draconic beaucratic nonsense rules to "count" among the various "official boards" then you are mistaken.
Racing doesn't have shit on literal frame by frame pixel hunting to find splices or possible TAS involvement.
