Interesting that there were a lot more white guys in the interracial mix over there. Here in the US TV commercials, the only acceptable role for a white guy (when Diverse people are present) is to be the whipping boy.
Hell, it'd practically be fetishization to pair a white guy with a non-white woman, which is just a perpetuation of racism.
I think this might be a uniquely American , possibly even more specifically uniquely Black + White American thing…
Because this programming, in ads, sports and sitcoms, is exactly the same as this video depicts, and as you describe, but there is hardly any gender imbalance, in that sense…
Clearly, there’s historic/cultural stuff at play, here, but “white man black woman” relationships are definitely not looked down upon in the way you describe, to the same extent…

Are you talking about from the Chinamen in charge? Because almost every Chinese woman in China wants a wealthy White guy to get her pregnant and when they bag one it's totally something she brags about with her mates. (I also flirted for a while with an Australian Chinese girl, and we never actually dated but she gave no indication that it was looked down upon in Oz either. Not that I would have asked her family for their opinion anyway...)
As I’ve said before, I have no problem with interracial dating. A man and woman fall in love that’s great, however, there is a clear agenda that even a blind man could see. They are obviously doing this for a reason just like they over represent black, lgbt, and other minorities (although black and lgbt get the most over represented). I’ve seen the studies where people way over estimate the lgbt population due to tv and the same goes for other groups.
I find it the height of absurdity that in a majority white country they have to apologize for having white people or a white family in anything. Insane. I know it’s not Christianly to be rude so I have been creative with dealing with those who push for this or incessantly whine about representation
