I keep saying, the best way to protect Anime, Manga and all the 'waifus body pillows' is to reclaim EVERY institution, both government and private from the left in the West.

If this is true, this is a great first step as it blocks out one avenue of slow indoctrination and illusion of a fake consensus. Now we can only hope the blackouts in California force Sony to shut down the HQ there and Republicans win it all and turn off the taps of money for spite for 2 years.

I’ve done zero research but I’m pretty sure that Korea is spending gdp-tier amounts of money to push K-pop around the world.

I have noticed people who are into Worst Korean entertainment tend to be leftists. What attracts these people to it? The effeminate men? Girl groups that act like nogs?

Why is there this massive fake push for kpop shit?

It's not fake.

Kpop is immensely popular in India, which messes with the numbers. Like, all of your western conceptions of what is normal goes out the window the second something becomes popular in New Delhi, the metro with the population of Texas.

Why is it popular in India? You think Indian twitter wasn't manipulated in the same way?

If it remains viral then it only means that the Indian's are chugging the Kool-Aid on their own. Tends to happen a lot there.

Considering Elon terminated all of Indian twitter, it might be interesting to see what the situation there is without manipulation.

Why is it popular in India?

Similar tastes. Kpop has caught on as an alternative to Bollywood.

The language barrier isn't such a barrier to being popular in a country with something like thirty state-recognized languages.

I hate to defend the old Twitter here, but this is why they had to change how their listed trends worked.

For many years, if trends were completely organic 100% of the time, the list would be nothing but K-pop shit. The fans were THAT rabid.

Your saying it came from India makes this make a lot more sense.

That is my suspicion.

I know for certain that Kpop's biggest market is urban India, which is the third largest market for Twitter after the USA and Japan. If trending is being deskewed, it wouldn't surprise me at all for Kpop to trend.

Japanese internet might be almost as screwed as the West i think. I once heard that the reason why there arent many Japanese League of Legends players is because so many foreigners were using the Japanese server (for reasons i forgot) and a lot of these foreigners were other Asians posting anti Japanese things, they didnt get banned but when Japanese tried to say anything back ,they got censored or banned instead.
