I hope one day he can get a real trial. You’ll never convince me that there wasn’t pressure on the juror and the city to convict
Some of the jurors were part of the Burn Loot Murder riots. Two of them openly bragged about sending him to jail after the decision was official.
That this hasn't been ruled a mistrial yet is a travesty to justice.

I wonder if they're waiting on a potentially friendlier administration in the federal government? Because if he were to have the conviction thrown out now, the DOJ will turn around and charge him with federal crimes to keep him locked up. Even when he is freed he will probably need help getting out of the country safely before someone assassinates him. And even in many other countries he won't be safe unless he can get a new identity.

Reversing the rulings would be akin to reigniting the riot flames from 2020. I don't think they'll ever let it happen.
