Premier Smith to replace Dr. Hinshaw with 'team of public health advisors'
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said she will replace Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw. In her first press conference as premier, Smith told reporters she would seek 'new advice on public health.'

Wait, so public health freaks went on a completely illegal 2 year priest kidnapping spree and their punishment from the new "based conservative" is a fresh round of big ass pensions? Sounds about right.
It's better than nothing, I guess. We can hardly expect extrajudicial executions.
Well that's the problem then isn't it. No consequences, and the lemmings continue to clot themselves up.
Will the Alberta government pass laws to protect the human rights of people against lockdowns and coerced vaccination?
Smith has talked about adding medical choice to the human rights code.
It's practically unthinkable that this wasn't already there.
Or perhaps it already was. In Quebec, starting when I was 14, I had to sign documents accepting to receive medical treatments to treat my cancer. Until you're 13, your legal guardians make that decision for you, but from 14 on, it becomes your choice. I could have refused and died, and my parents wouldn't have been able to coerce the hospital or any doctor to veto my decision. And yet, Quebec still had experimental injection mandates. It seems that although yes, they couldn't force you to become a test subject and receive it, they could still fully get around the law by punishing everyone who declined. Because apparently, blackmailing you into making personal medical decisions is legal.
Any law intended to prevent a repeat of this situation would have to specifically mention that the government is not allowed to impose any form of restriction on people who elect to not undergo any medical procedure, and would have to specify that such citizens will still have full possession of their fundamental human rights.
Good to hear!
Now, is she a Canadian Texan or a Texas Canadian? In other words, is she going to clean house or is she just giving tough words that she'll apologize for later?
I think it's the latter.
She openly supported the urgency to adopt Great Reset style climate change measures on the campaign trail.
She also already abandoned/sold out the previous grassroots opposition right wing party she headed to cross the floor to sit with the corrupt establishment government for personal gain.
Figured as much. A Canadian MTG.
Good on her for sticking to her word, but she's going to find that the new team - which will come from academia - will have the same mental derangement as the outgoing Fauciette. This is because Progressivism is the underlying cause, and it has taken over most of academia.
She could hire Matt Strauss, the interim Medical Officer of Health for Haldimand in Ontario.
He was the only Public Health official to openly question the narrative, though he's still pro-vaxx.
Of course, it's always problematic for Alberta to import Easterners.
Don't get your hopes up on Smith. She just days whatever she needs to in order to get power like a good politician. Firing staff is dramatic but it doesn't cause any permanency in protecting the people. Don't expect much permanent positive changes from Smith.
After she lost the WR campaign she came out and said that next time she'll censor social conservatives and that they need to do more for the LGBTQ+ community. She also talks about climate change bullshit. Tough to know anything about what she really believes or intends to do. She's a woman in politics though and if you listen to her on the radio, she sounds like she's got 90 IQ points.
I expect nothing from her. I'll be happily shocked if she manages to accomplish even 1 lasting good thing.
