Russia bombed Ukraine to stop its invasion of the Donbas.
Ukraine wasn't invading the Donbass. This is unlike what Russia did in Georgia where they baited the Georgians to attack South Ossetia [who actually started it by shelling the Georgians] as a pretext to attack immediately after staging all their troops right over the border on a pretext of "exercises". By contrast, Ukraine was just minding its own business when Putin launched his naked war of aggression against it in February.
Your statement obviously means "no one who is gullible believes this". Again, you try to blame others for your own slip-ups.
I've told you that is exactly what I intended to say, and yet you refuse to accept it. As I know my mind, and you do not, my statement on the matter is definitive and undisputed. You are not qualified to contradict it. Your little pet theory that I meant to use a different word and meant to convey a different meaning is, quite frankly, a pathetic cope and makes you look like a loser who is tilting.
from a guy who believes that cricket noises create brain damage...
Cricket noises do not cause brain damage, but pulsed microwave radiation does.
At other times, you're just batshit crazy.
Imp is batshit about women. You are batshit about the US and Putin in general.
Pretty crazy to think that you could get a paycheck for posting on the internet.
It's a very common and open thing with Chinese. Hell, I just got lit up by wumao accounts on reddit yesterday when someone posted that China has the lowest suicide rate in the world and I replied "China also has the lowest COVID rate in the world according to China. LOL." Had wumaos reply saying it's true. LOL. They're either ethnic Han who have been brainwashed into doing it for free out of misguided ethnic tribalism, in which case they're traitors who ought to be deported, OR they're paid members of the 50 cent army.
Russia does the same thing, just on a smaller scale, and they're sneakier about it.
You also failed to address the rest of the comment.
I purposely do not respond when something you wrote is just trivial or bitchy. It clutters up the reply and adds nothing of value. If you write substantive things that I haven't already responded to such that I'd be repeating myself, then I respond.

I mean, it was going on for 8 years. And in fact, the separatists were in control of the area. Somehow, Yugoslavia reasserting control over its own territory, which in fact it held in 1389, is an 'invasion' - even though the separatists there were not in control of Kosovo! They were just a bunch of rag-tag rebels, which is why you wisely opposed the terror bombing against Yugoslavia.
But it does show that the US government is not against "wars of aggression", as aggression this most certainly was. Along with the other aggressions, this shows that the excuse that the US is just morally outraged, outraged about some other country doing what it has done for decades is silly and easily discreditable.
I've told you that is exactly what I intended to say, and yet you refuse to accept it. As I know my mind, and you do not, my statement on the matter is definitive and undisputed.
That is incorrect - the meaning of what you say does not depend on your mental state. Perhaps consult what Scalia and Sowell have written about originalism, which is similar. What was the state of mind of the individuals writing the words does not matter, the public meaning is what matters.
If I say "I like flowers" while intending to say "I want to gas 6 million Jews", the meaning of that phrase doesn't change.
You are not qualified to contradict it. Your little pet theory that I meant to use a different word and meant to convey a different meaning is, quite frankly, a pathetic cope and makes you look like a loser who is tilting.
Dude, just say: that was inartfully phrased. I know full well what credulous means.
Is this a lawyer thing that you can't admit to doing or saying anything wrong?
Imp is batshit about women. You are batshit about the US and Putin in general.
OK, then give me three claims that are 'batshit crazy' about either.

I'm at least happy that you agree mindless tribalism is bad. But that also applies to "my politicians are more moral because fuck yeah America". I wouldn't be surprised if those stats were accurate, though I trust the CCP bureaucracy even less than the American one, at least when it comes to numbers like these. Chinese culture is rather collectivist and it may very well be that suicide in such cultures is much lower.
Russia does the same thing, just on a smaller scale, and they're sneakier about it.
If you weren't looking for a fight with Russia, you'd be allies right now, rather than Russia aiding the CCP. Now, I know you think it doesn't matter because <ratonalization> and that China is doomed but whatever. But it's not exactly good statecraft.

You have not told me why you put absolute faith in whatever the NYT and Wiki say about folks you don't like, while ignoring the bad stuff they write about Republicans.

I do not. You seem to think that my knowledge and beliefs come from wiki and NYT. They do not. My brain and what I can pull up links to in 30 seconds are different. The NYT was the biggest book review, and it pointed out the issues that were broadly believed. It's the logical choice for a link. I'm not going to spend a lot of time hunting for a "better" link. I'm sure I could find one, but why should I have to?
And wiki is THE general reference source on the internet. It's also a very good and reliable source as long as you stay away from items that libtards get up in arms about.
If you weren't looking for a fight with Russia, you'd be allies right now
I and many others in the US would have supported that, but it's not up to me if Putin doesn't want to fuck. If I could make Putin stop being a bitch, the US and Putin would have been like this in an anti-terrorism alliance where we jointly laid the smack down on islamic terror all over the world.
Instead, Putin decided that he wanted to reconstitute the USSR. Putin had a choice, and he chose wrong. Had Putin decided to go the path of demilitarization and economic prosperity, Russia might have a GDP several times higher than what it has now. Russia might have even joined the EU and been a strong conservative cultural force for good pulling the EU to the Right.
rather than Russia aiding the CCP.
Funny enough, Russia and China are at best frenemies, and China has been massively distancing itself from Russia and taking advantage of Russia economically since the war started to look bad for Russia in March.
Now, I know you think it doesn't matter because <ratonalization> and that China is doomed but whatever. But it's not exactly good statecraft.
It's not good statecraft to hand Putin a license to invade and conquer Ukraine as part of a devil's bargain to obtain empty promises from him to cooperate against China, when Xi and Putin have very similar [though long term contradictory, like Hitler and Stalin] goals which are naturally opposed to the democratic capitalist order.
Chinese culture is rather collectivist and it may very well be that suicide in such cultures is much lower.
Japan is collectivist, China isn't even a little. Chinese culture today is ruthlessly individualist and almost to the point of ancap. Rich Chinese famously run people over in the street and complain that the poorshit damaged their car with his body. China is a partially communist country, but the part that is not communist is perhaps the most degenerate extreme unfettered "greed is good, is you ain't cheating you ain't trying" society the world has ever seen.
There are tons of murders of schoolchildren and various scandals in China on a regular basis, but the government successfully covers them up internationally 99% of the time. It's only when the scandal gets super big that it leaks out.
