In regards to the extremist feminist conspiracy theories regarding heel requirements, 99% of the time it's because the policy was written by a retard that does not realise other women's dress shoes exist.
Female passengers in business class are generally expected to wear heels. Unless the airline does away with that requirement (and I’m sure some have), then the air hostesses can damn well manage…
It’s not like you can’t take the damn things off, where need be, smh…
Also, female flight attendants have managed with skirts and heels for more than 70 years. If anything, the job is significantly less demanding, and less physical than it was at any time in the past.
Thus, by comparison to their forebears, I guess, if anything, this makes them rather weak. Which is fine, if only they admitted that.
It’s part of the deal. Personally, I think they should just suck it up. Like pilots with ties and hats. It’s part of the deal.
Heels don't really make sense on a plane to be honest

Ok, look, silly as it sounds…

Frankly more industries need to go back to uniforms with ties and hats.
Fair conclusion. It is (or rather, was) a budget airline…
I might have said the same thing five years ago, but now..?
If the job comes with more “prestige”, and/or pays better, I would accept less comfortable shoes…
See: literally most trades that require you to wear steel caps, although, admittedly, that is FOR safety, rather than looks…
Or, I dunno, like I said, suits, ties and hats for pilots. They earn a lot. They can suck it up.
As can “prestige” air hostesses, frankly.
I would be highly surprised if any major airline had this a "requirement" now
Flown on a Middle Eastern airline in business class?? Flown Cathay Pacific in business class..?
The world is not the West, and we should not pretend it is…
Women strapping those stilt shoes to their feet is extremely bizarre.
