He was re-elected in a landslide in 2020, so that's unlikely.
WA is a vote by mail state, so we're probably not voting our way out of our problems at the state level. But it's also a very sparsely populated state. More likely is that counties and communities just decide to do their own thing. If they did, who would know, and how would they find out?
This is the only tenable plan for the future. Seats of Government need to be de-centralized, scattered throughout rural areas, and to brutally oppress their metropolitan territories. It's what everyone wants. The rurals want to be left the fuck alone, and the metros want "govern me harder daddy." What we've been sliding into is exactly backwards.

Correction: state employees, and likely contractors of the state, will still be under the vaccine mandate.
