How is anime, manga and Japanese video games doing in resisting the woke virus? A post from a while back said some Japanese companies were bending the knee to progressivism. Is it getting any worse?
Also, any anime recommendations? Been watching Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure, got up to the saga with Jotaro. I enjoy Goblyn Slayer, Berserk, Gantz, Cowboy Bepop, Hellsing, Fairy Tail and Dragon Ball. I prefer mature anime and protagonists with more traditionally masculine natures (such as deep voices). Old 80s anime could work too as I prefer anime where the characters look relatively realistic and human.
Anecdotal but I live in Japan and have certainly noticed the creep of woke shit. Way more gay characters and storylines in TV dramas, fat (body positivity) nonsense, emphasis on 'inclusion' of foreigners especially half-blacks etc.
Recent court decisions that slapped down gay marriage will ultimately be temporary wins as 'LGBT' is now well entrenched in the national discourse and that's all they need.
Figured that regressive leftist corruption in japan is growing due to influence by globalist conspirators who control companies and foreign regressive leftist assholes giving bad advice to push an extremist ideology.
Current production? Pretty damn good. But that's always delayed a bit behind actual culture. There's signs of the infiltration taking root, for sure, and I don't expect it to stay as good as it is, sadly. But for now...almost no woke shit, at least in most of what I've seen. Localizations are of course a whole other animal, though.
I guarantee that Japanese entertainment will be mostly neutered by 2030. Many of the OG creators who fight back against globohomo will be retired by then. I follow a ton of them and they often express their disappointment and confusion towards the inclusion of darkies and homos in media.
Ironically, I think the erotic entertainment industry has the potential to survive the degeneracy, because the artists are very passionate and they are already in the margins of society.
Anime Recommendations: Fist of the North Star, Trigun, Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex, Monster, Legend of the Galactic Heroes.
Japan will fall.
It might take ten years, it might take 20, but I think they're doomed to follow the same suicidal path as the west.
The leftists will only have to gain control ONCE to open the immigration floodgates, and the country will be changed forever.
Zombie Land Saga got made.
Tranny child.
That's all you need to know.
nah he's not a tranny.
He is. I watched a video that tried to claim that all femboys are actually trannies, and the guy who made it said that the character was a fully-blown tranny even in the original Japanese.
Must watch: Akira, Princess Mononoke, Monster, Cowboy Bebop, Yu-Yu Hakusho
Worth watching: Darker Than Black S1, Psycho Pass S1, Hunter x Hunter, Ninja Scroll, Aldnoah Zero, Darwin’s Game, Steins; Gate
Can not emphasize Akira and Princess Mononoke enough as they are the ultimate cinematic experiences you will ever see in anime. I was lucky enough to catch them young and was obsessed ever since.
I thought attack on titan, death note, and Evangelion were worth watching.
Akira if you’re looking for a movie
I always liked "artsy" anime with existential theme thus you must watch these:
Cassern Sins
Ergo Proxy
Count of Monte Cristo
Also you should watch Legend of a Galactic Heroes, you will have to force feed yourself first few episodes to get past 1980 era animation and yellow text, but then you won't even notice them, coz you'll be engrossed by the story.
Mostly by xenophobia, their focus on national than inviting different cultures in has been a natural barrier against the woke. The only issue is it's only a barrier so unless we sort our shit out at home and deal with them at the source they can only hold out for so long.
Anime recommendations, I'd go with Megalobox as that suits your style and although it's currently stuck in Netflix jail, I'd recommend you look at Uncle from another world as I feel you'd enjoy it.
They were resisting the woke virus.
Members of the board and the President of Kadokawa (Japanese largest Light Novel, Manga, and anime publishing house) have joined the WEF. https://archive.ph/fMlwl
Nintendo has gone woke as well about Gay Marriage.
Capcom moved their headquarters to San Francisco and are slowly turning woke.
Sony is already woke and owns the rights not most US anime (with Crunchyroll/Funimation) thereby controlling the largest foreign market for the product.

Darn.
Shit, not Capcom. That sucks a lot.
I always get roasted when I make anime recommendations, but here are some you might want to try if you haven't already:
Ergo Proxy - Post-apocalyptic cyber-punk with dense philosophical themes. Can be confusing and open for interpretation, especially towards the end but it's one of my favorites.
Ghost in the Shell - All of the pre-2016 ones are good, haven't watched the newer ones, but Stand Alone Complex is best IMHO.
Parasyte -the maxim- - Very gory. This one starts off great but gradually changes in tone and feel so your taste may vary.
Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works - Honestly the only one of the Fate/Stay series I can recommend, but it is great as a stand-alone piece.
Sword of the Stranger - Good samurai-era action movie with great animation and a strong main character.
Baki the Grappler - I haven't watched it yet but the manga is nuts and it sounds right up your alley.
Here are some others that you might want to try, even though they don't exactly fit your criteria:
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - When you said "masculine" the first thing I thought of was one of the side characters from this anime. May not be to your taste as it's a mecha anime, but it's definitely a wild ride.
Grimgar - Ashes and Illusions - Again, not exactly hyper-masculine as it's about a bunch of teenagers, but it's a very grounded and realistic take on the Isekai genre.
World Trigger - Shonen-style battle anime about mostly teenagers training to fight invaders from another dimension, but the characters are unusually mature and the fights are more cerebral than flashy, which I appreciate.
Demon Slayer - Another one about teenagers (as is most common) but dark and bloody compared to many other shonen. Also gorgeously animated.
Also, Tokyo Ghoul and Psycho Pass are both often mentioned as popular dark, gory and mature series but I'm personally not a huge fan of either of them. Still, you may want to give them a try.
Some of those sound interesting. I forgot about Baki, I have watched that as well. Kengan Ashura is even better, love that anime.
Allegedly the new season of Bleach has a tranny in it
It was always this way from Monster "they are going to burn down cockroach district" to Sidonia "gender doesn't matter".
anime recs:
Rising of the Shield Hero (season 1): this is the one that triggered lefties after Kavanaugh because a female scumbag falsely accuses the main protagonist of sexual assault
Fate/Zero: mature anime and lots of masculine characters; Highlander style duels for the fate of the universe mixed with the intrigues of Game of Thrones
Black Lagoon: mercenary action set in the criminal underworld of SE asia
Thank you all for responding. Sounds like Japan is falling sadly. Been looking through the anime recommendations made and creating a list to watch next after Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure. Thanks for the contributions everybody.
Watch Angel Cop on 9anime.
