I don't know what denationalization means. Making things not state-owned? Also they also keep saying "Solidarity". I suppose this made more sense to people in 1989 post-Soviet Poland. Anyway just an interesting look back at how Soros has been taking advantage of crises to sweep in and manipulate the world economy for a long time.

Everything was state owned. Communists have nationalised everything.

In the mid/late 1980s during the "thaw" reforms (corresponding with these in the Soviet Union) they allowed some very small business, like independent shopkeepers or people importing and selling personal computers (they were also selling pirated software, and others were selling pirated VHS tapes with American movies in the various dedicated marketplace events, usually on Sunday mornings). Such people were being deresively referred to as prywaciarze (literally privateers, just not in "a pirate" meaning).

prywaciarz m pers

(colloquial, historical) private entrepreneur during the communist era, operating outside of the official system of planned economy

(colloquial, derogatory) small business owner

denationalization means the destruction of national identity. One of the objections the Frankfurt School had of marxism was that the factory worker in France will never consider the factory worker from Germany as their brother.
Denationalization has to happen for their great reset.

So far it worked, being a nationalist was considered a good think 10 years ago, now it means you are a racist alt-right extremist bigot etc etc etc

I am still shocked at how effective and fast things moved in the last 8-10 years.

I am against any entity that grows large enough to have influence over society. Be it a national government or private international corporation.

Capitalism is just private property ownership and the ability to trade freely.

libertarians do believe that states should be reduced to the simplest functions and the rest should be the business of private corporations

So the simplest function of the state is... signing charters of incorporation? I think a corporation would quickly become the state in that situation of minimal oversight. (and then seek to block all competition)

Like all things these people do, they've taken a word and twisted it into their own meaning while wearing the skin of the original meaning to trick people into supporting their cause.

They still want total control over the markets, and their actions prove it. Soros doesnt care about curing racism, he wants more of it, because it destabilizes nations and allows him to swoop in. Yet he donates to "anti-racist" organizations all the time, doesnt he? I dont care about words anymore, I care about actions and nothing about what Soros or Biden does supports a free market.

My bad you are correct denationalization can mean that as well and is the most likely case as denationalization was a big part of moving away from the URSS. But you do seem to think that my opinion somehow reflects the entire sub, I did make a mistake not the entire sub.

Here's the thing though. Because it moves so fast, it will move past it as well. I'd imagine that during Roman Empire anyone calling themselves a nationalist in a conquered province would be probably called a racist alt-right extremist bigot, or at the very least the equivalent of that back in the day.

Denationalisation means the reversal of the process of nationalization. In 1944-1946 the communist state nationalized (stole) all the private business and property beyond very personal property like own homes (the apartments belonging to landlords were also nationalized). Or even own homes, too, if they got collectivized and now lived in a collective farm.

I'm genuily perplexed you don't understand the absolutely basic vocabulary, and go on to confuse economic literal communism with nationalism. This is an "R for retarded" level of discourse.

You are correct, sorry it is my bad here, I did make a mistake. Nationalization and denationalization does make a lot more sense to countries that used to be under the URSS. I take my R here.

In Poland the restoration of capitalism was also known as the privatization (prywatyzacja). It was introduced through the Privatization Law in 1990.

On January 1, 1990, the Polish postcommunist government introduced one of the most far-reaching and radical economic reform programs ever undertaken in any country during this century. Aimed at quickly transforming a communist economy based on central planning and state ownership into an economy with market allocation of resources and largely private ownership, the Balcerowicz Plan, named after Finance Minister Leszek Balcerowicz, sought to do many things at once: greatly reduce the runaway rate of inflation (which was as high as 50% per month); decontrol most prices; eliminate shortages; make the Polish currency convertible into other currencies at market rates; cease the subsidization of state enterprises; and remove most restrictions on foreign trade.

The government’s actions were intended to stabilize the macroeconomy and to create the conditions necessary for privatization, enterprise restructuring, and the development of an institutional system compatible with a market economy. Because of the speed and scope of the reforms, the impact on Polish markets and enterprises was immediate and profound. Remarkably, the main goals of the program, widely known as “shock therapy,” were achieved within a few months.

And Solidarity was the movement that brought down the communism in Poland and in fact in the entire Warsaw Pact.

Through generally non-violence (in face of violence, including many of assassinations and other killings by the government). Some people tried hijacking planes (the early 1980s was the period when Poles were hijacking more planes than the Palestinians) or things like the Polish embassy in Austria being taken hostage, but this wasn't what did work out. There was also quite a lot street fights but just with stones vs tanks (https://youtu.be/7si5Dphr8co - note how everyone participating is unmasked, unlike these Antifa cowards in America). A few young people also went to fight the Sovietoids in Afghanistan, among them the future minister of defense Sikorski (and one died there by being in fact murdered by Hekmatyar's guys). But really it was just the mass non-compliance and strike actions that broke them.

Besides years of very crippling economic sanctions by President Ronnie, following the military coup intended to crush Solidarity: https://youtu.be/vSkTbyDqdH4
