"the police" are not a national cabal like the 3-letter agencies. Sure there are faggot sheriffs, but they are much easier to replace than feds via local elections. Don't lump city police with your local police.
Obviously don't blanket back cops just by virtue of being cops. But equally don't blanket condemn cops just because they're cops. My local police had our backs during the riots and covid hysteria, and continues to foster a safe community, so I celebrate them.
