Come to think of it... there are no new black actors or actresses that are super popular. You notice that?? All the black actors you named are all over 50.
Asians watches popular black actors like will smith or morgan freeman, but they definitely hate random black actors.
That's probably just due to my personal bias because I haven't really watched or paid attention to anything coming out of Hollywood in a decade. There may well be new black actors (Idris Elba? Sorry, I never understood what was so great about him in Thor. He just stood there in big armor. The new black Wesker?) that are good, but I wouldn't know because I almost exclusively watch movies and TV that predate 2000.
Hell, I couldn't probably name any white actors or musicians that were under 30 either. Are the kids in Superbad still under 30?
Idris Elba was in The Wire and Dark Towers. I like him, but he is considered old too hes like 50+. The black wesker is old guy too, he was also in Oz and john wick.
Those are all old black actors. Basically.. all those actors got their start in the 90s and early 2000s. In 2010-2020.. no one really came up who is GOOD, respected and super famous.
Clearly systemic racism at work.
